A complete borehole service, from siting to a working supply.
We site, drill, test and equip, so you deal with one company from the first visit to running water.
Our services
Borehole siting
We site your borehole before we drill, because it's the best way to reduce the risk of a dry hole. Jan Hendrik surveys the site with his own equipment, just for our clients. If you need a formal report, we work with Geocon Consulting.
Borehole drilling
We drill by air percussion and ODEX, to depths of up to 320 m and diameters of 165 to 330 mm, for farms, homes, lodges, estates and commercial sites.
Test pumping
Yield testing tells you what your borehole can actually deliver, so your pump and storage are sized to the water you have. We test yields up to 50 l/s.
SOLAR FARM PILE DRILLING Pile holes for ground-mounted solar farms
We drill foundation pile holes for solar farms, a growing part of our work. Developers and EPC contractors: send us your specification and we'll quote.

Cleaning, repair, and rehabilitation
Boreholes clog, silt up and lose yield. We clean, repair and rehabilitate existing boreholes, and can deepen one if that's what it needs.
Borehole equipping
Pumps, tanks and solar pumps, installed so the water reaches your tap. On large contracts we do the equipping ourselves. On private boreholes we work with Sico Pumps in Vryheid. We fit Vansan pumps on typical private holes, and Franklin solar pumps on our water schemes.
Village and community water schemes
We deliver water from borehole to tap for rural communities: drilling, test pumping, solar pumping, storage tanks and pipelines. Our schemes for Innovation Africa serve villages that had no clean drinking water.
Geotechnical and exploration drilling
For engineers who need to know the ground. We drill geotechnical and exploration holes to your specification.
Two 6x4 rigs, two crews
We run two 6x4 truck-mounted rigs, each with its own crew and supervisor. Both drill up to 320 m at 165 to 330 mm, in all formations.
A typical day is one 150 m borehole with 24 m of casing, and about five boreholes a week, depending on travel between sites. If you can reach your site in a normal bakkie, we can most likely get the rig there, unless it's very wet.
The specifications
Compressors: 24 bar / 1,200 cfm on one rig, 25 bar / 900 cfm on the other, plus a standby compressor
Methods: air percussion and ODEX
Test pumping: line-shaft pump for yields up to 50 l/s, and submersible pumps for up to 6.7 l/s
Support equipment: excavators, TLBs, concrete mixers and a cherry picker

Questions we're often asked
It depends mainly on how deep the water is and how far we travel, so we quote per job. Quotes are free and come back within a day. Two holes 200 m apart can strike water at 50 m and at 200 m, which is why we can't give one price for everyone.
Where the site is and how deep you want to drill. If you're unsure, we'll quote a standard borehole for your area.
Water is never guaranteed at any depth. Siting before drilling helps reduce the risk, and we'll tell you honestly what to expect.
Normally within a week, at most two, depending on where our rigs are working.
A deposit is paid before the rig leaves for your site, and the balance is paid when the work is done.
Pumps carry the normal one-year factory warranty. Lightning damage is not covered.
If you can get there in a normal bakkie, we can most likely get there, unless it's very wet.
